Disgraced MP Matt Hancock was spotted on the move this morning in Westminster, while many have yet to move past his decision to wear a black turtle neck jumper and talk about his affair on a podcast last week.

The former Health Secretary appeared in good spirits as he jogged along side a group of friends, following his appearance on The Diary of a CEO podcast, during which he denied breaking the law.

ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly pulled no punches on his outfit of choice for the podcast - a dark blue turtle neck jumper and blue jeans - and his description of events.

She said: 'That is Matt Hancock, remember him? The former Health Secretary talking to Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett about his resignation last year.

'I don't what he's come as, he looks like a Bond villain. A Pound Shop Milk Tray man maybe?'

It is not the first time the 43-year-old has been seen wearing doing his best Steve Jobs impression.

Back in December Mr Hancock was once again donning a black roll neck sweater and blue jeans for an unlikely appearance at Capital FM's Jingle Bells Ball starring Justin Bieber in London.

Mr Hancock has been attempting to stir up positive publicity for himself after a  difficult pandemic period which featured a variety of incidents, from him appearing to cry on TV when the vaccine programme began, having a text from the Prime Minister calling him 'totally f***ing hopeless' leaked and leaving his wife of 15 years and three children for a new lover.

When he appeared on business podcast he did deny that the relationship with aide Gina Coladangelo, which led to the breakdown of his marriage, was against the rules.

Defending himself, Mr Hancock said it had happened 'quite quickly' after legal rules surrounding social distancing were lifted, adding: 'I didn't break the law. I fell in love with somebody.

'It actually happened after the rules were lifted, but the guidance was still in place,' he said.

'I resigned because I broke the social distancing guidelines by then.

'They weren't actually rules. They weren't the law. But that's not the point.

'The point is they were the guidelines that I'd been proposing. And that happened because I fell in love with somebody.'

Mr Hancock also denied that his office affair with Ms Gina Coladangelo was about just 'casual sex'.

Other recent efforts from Mr Hancock on his 'comeback tour' to the public have included going for a winter swim in Hyde Park's Serpentine lake back in January.

Though his icy dip backfired after the Serpentine Swimmers' Club made it clear that swimming is 'strictly for members only' and 'no guests [are] permitted'.

Following his return to the Tory backbenches, after resigning from the Government last year, Mr Hancock has been campaigning to introduce a Dyslexia Screening Bill which would ensure that all pupils are screened for dyslexia at primary school.
