Man charged over petrol station stabbing appears in court

Pavandeep Daudher died after being found with serious injuries at a petrol station in Coventry

A man is set to appear at crown court this week charged with the murder of Pavandeep Daudher.

Ethan Lilley, 22, appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court this morning, Monday, April 6, where the case was sent to Warwick Crown Court, sitting at the Warwickshire Justice Centre in Leamington Spa.

Lilley, 22, is charged with the murder of Pavendeep, of Holbrooks, who died last week aged just 19.

Pavandeep was found at the BP petrol station in Lockhurst Lane with a stab wound to his leg just after 11pm on Tuesday night.

He died shortly after midnight in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Lilley, of Queen Isabels Avenue in Cheylesmore, was charged with murder by West Midlands Police over the weekend.

He appeared in Coventry Magistrates Court this morning where he was remanded in custody to appear at crown court on Wednesday, April 8.

West Midlands Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
