Bristol City winger Niclas Eliasson has opened up on his future and ongoing links to the likes of Lazio, Celtic and Fenerbahce, saying he wants to one day play in Europe's top leagues.
Eliasson is coming off the back of his best season in a Bristol City shirt after scoring three and setting up 12 more and has turned the heads of some of Europe's biggest clubs.
The Swedish winger is currently in his home country before heading back to England for pre-season training and has admitted that he wants to experience playing at some of biggest clubs in Europe at some point in his career.
The winger is currently stalling over signing a new contract at Ashton Gate with just one year left on his current deal and if he doesn't sign an extension, the Robins may have to sell to avoid the risk of losing him on a free next season.
Eliasson's agent has admitted that something big could happen with the winger this summer after clubs were circling in January, but the player himself has said he is leaving it all the hands of his representatives (the interview is translated from Swedish, so excuse any unfamiliar phrasings).
Eliasson told Swedish website fotbollskanalen: "There has been some talk about extending [the contract]. But it can swing very fast in this industry, with other clubs and with Bristol City. I've put it on my agent. If something concrete happens, I listen.
"I do not want to hear about the slightest interest from Bristol City or another club, but more about something that is really on the table and is serious.
"It is clear that it is flattering [transfer interest from elsewhere]. When you were little you always had a dream of playing in one of the three or four biggest leagues in Europe.

"I hope I can fulfil that dream one day. There are many rumours in these times. My agent takes care of those pieces. I do not want to hear too much. It's easy to get a lot of talk and it's nothing anyway. It is better to stay focused on the plan.
"I'm only 24 years old and I hope I have many years left. I fight to take the development in the right direction and become as good a player as possible. I want to test my wings and see how far I can go. Hopefully I get to experience one of the biggest leagues. I strive for that and hopefully you succeed."
The Robins are on the search for a new manager and have entered their fifth week of the recruitment process. Lee Johnson was sacked after the 1-0 loss to Cardiff City and while Eliasson was upset to so him go, he is excited to see who will come in as his replacement.

He said: "It was sad because I have worked with him for several years. We will see who takes over and what investment the club makes. It can probably be clear soon.
"Players who have not played that much probably see it as an opportunity. It can be positive for many to get a fresh start. It will be exciting to see what kind of manager it will be."
The Swedish U21 forward has had a good season individually but the Robins feel way short of their pre-season ambitions of making the play-offs.

Following a run of nine games without a win, City fell short of sixth place and the winger has discussed his time in and out of the starting XI and the constant changes in formation.
He said: "I have taken steps every season and I think I have taken big steps forward in the past year. I always strive to get better and better, but I am happy and satisfied with my season. I am fighting even harder to make it even better.

"We have had many different formations and changes back and forth. Often it was two or three matches a week and that we then went around people. Regardless of whether I started or jumped into matches, I still think I have contributed to the team. Of course you want to play every minute but not many in our team do.
"I always want to start every match. Then it is always the coach who makes the decision. It is important to do it as well as possible at all times. If you look at our squad, many players have started a lot but also jumped in a lot.
"The team's performance has been up and down. For a while we had a very good chance to take a playoff spot, as we were only one point behind. But we did not get enough matches after the break and the coach was also fired. Everyone is disappointed that we did not reach the playoffs, which was the club's goal.
"We were not completely even. We had periods that were good and periods that were less good and that was what made us not reach all the way."
