West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson isn't being forced to train alone after handing in a transfer request at The Hawthorns, despite reports elsewhere suggesting Darren Moore has shunned the wantaway star.
No secret has been made of Dawson’s desire to force a move away from Albion this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
It’s believed Burnley have seen an offer for Dawson turned down by West Brom while West Ham reportedly saw a £12million bid rejected earlier this summer.
According to the Mirror, Scottish giants Celtic and Leicester City are also monitoring Dawson’s situation ahead of the transfer deadline on August 9.
Dawson joined Albion from Rochdale eight years ago and has made 180 appearances to date.
Albion latest
The 28-year-old centre-back, who has spent the majority of his Albion career at right-back, hasn’t featured that heavily under Moore in pre-season and is expected to complete a move away.
Dawson only signed a new three-year contract with the club last summer and Albion are looking for around £20million for him.
