A Brit dad dead in Magaluf after a confrontation with bouncers and police has been described as a "loving" Midlands dad. Dad-of-two Tobias White-Sansom, from Nottingham, died in hospital five days after an alleged incident near a nightclub in Magaluf.

He is the brother of Nottinghamshire entrepreneur Maximillian White, who has made his wealth from medicinal cannabis and owns a property on the holiday island. His cousin Ricardo Capone said the news had left the family "devastated". He said the family are now fighting to bring the body of their loved one "back home".

Mr Capone said: "He was living in Dubai but he is a Radford lad. We need to bring his body back home." In a letter to Nottinghamshire Live, the family said: "Tobias (Toby) White-Sansom is a loving father to two young girls, aged one and four. He is a kind-hearted, hardworking dad with a large family and countless friends.

"We are fighting with our embassy to have Toby’s body returned to the UK for further examination and the involvement of a British law firm to oversee this case." In a statement, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Mallorca and are in contact with the local authorities.”

The family is now fighting for the embassy to have Tobias’ body returned to the UK for further examination. Maximillian paid tribute to his brother, saying he was a "well-loved" father to his two daughters, four-year-old Jasmine and 11-month-old Poppy.

He said: "It's a pain that will never go away. As an elder sibling, you're always told 'look after your brother please and make sure he's okay'. For somebody who has always been told to look after their brother I feel like I've failed.

"As successful as I am and the places I've gotten to, it means nothing to me because I can't look after my little brother. And that's the sad thing. He was a good father, he didn't have a criminal record, he was well-loved around the world and he kept our family together like glue."

Maximillian added: "I am not going to leave here, especially as his body is still here. I will buy the Magaluf strip and I will close it down permanently if I have to, because it's a danger to people. It's not controlled."
