Zorc: Dembele not for sale
Amid speculation that Spanish giants Barcelona are eyeing a move for the player, Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc has moved to quash rumours of an exit for Ousmane Dembele.
The 20-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga since joining Dortmund from Rennes last season, but Zorc insists there is "no way" the France international will be leaving the club this summer.
When asked about Dembele in an interview with 'Die Welt', Zorc was full of praise for the player, saying: "What we've seen (from him) was extraordinary, both in his value for the team and his development."
"You always get the feeling he can do something special, make the difference. He can divide games by himself, even those games he's not really involved in."
Despite the intense speculation linking him with a move away, Dembele himself told 'Mundo Deportivo: "I'm good at Dortmund. I have a ocntract until 2021. I don't pay attention to what is said."
Though he did accept that he had spoken to Barcelona last year before deciding on a move to Germany.
