Liverpool fans blast Jordan Henderson AGAIN after midfielder’s ‘disasterclass’ in Champions League defeat to Napoli

The midfielder just cannot catch a break with poor performance after poor performance

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson's season is going from bad to worse with every passing week,

After performing brilliantly for the Reds last term, and putting in some excellent showings for England during the World Cup, Henderson was expected to begin this campaign in similar style.

So far it's been a season to forget for Jordan Henderson

Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

The 28-year-old has been perhaps Liverpool's worse player of the season so far, struggling in his 10 appearances across all competitions.

He hit new lows on Saturday in Liverpool's 1-1 draw at Chelsea, putting in a performance that had fans saying he should be dropped from the team, lose the captaincy - and even sold!

Many would think it could not get worse for Henderson than that evening in west London, but on Wednesday night, in Italy, the England man was shockingly poor once again.

He was introduced as a substitute early in Liverpool's Champions League defeat at the hands of Napoli, replacing the injured Naby Keita just before the 20-minute mark.

In his 71 minutes on the pitch, Henderson did practically nothing of note as Liverpool put in a truly shocking performance - undeniably one of their worst under Jurgen Klopp
