Crystal Palace line up move for Steve Cooper if he leaves Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace will make a move for Steve Cooper if he leaves Nottingham Forest, talkSPORT understands.
Cooper is under fresh pressure at the City Ground after a run of one win in nine Premier League games.
Palace owner Steve Parish is a long-term admirer of Cooper and would actively consider replacing Roy Hodgson with the Welshman if he did become available.
Hodgson is only contracted to Palace until the end of the season.
Cooper is also seen as a contender to replace David Moyes at West Ham when his deal expires in the summer.
The Welshman was appointed Forest boss in September 2021 with the team bottom of the Championship at the time.

However, a resurgence in form saw them finish in the play-offs and earn a spot back in the Premier League after a 23-year absence.
Following a poor start to last season it was suggested he could get the sack, however, Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis responded by giving him a contract until 2025.
Forest's results improved later in the season as they managed to stay in the top flight in relative comfort, finishing four points above the relegation zone.
They are currently eight points clear of the bottom three, however, Forest's form, which has seen them lose four and draw four of the last nine, has naturally thrown up more questions about Cooper's future.
