Sky: Milan consider last day bid for Everton; €35m price set

AC Milan are continuing to consider a move for Gremio and Brazil forward Everton Soares, according to the latest reports.

As MilanNews.it recently confirmed, the priority of the Rossoneri management is to find one final reinforcement for the attack before now and the deadline on Monday.

It was thought that Angel Correa was the priority and only target, however a number of different sources have confirmed that the deal is seemingly dead in the water.

This is despite the fact he has been left out of Atletico Madrid’s squad altogether for their game against Eibar on Sunday.

Calciomercato.com recently stated that four names are being considered as alternatives, including Memphis Depay, Christian Kouame and Mariano Diaz.

The other name their report mentioned was Everton Soares, and now the reliable Sky Italia state that he is a player who could be the subject of a late bid from Milan.

Reports that Milan placed a €30million bid are denied by the article, which claims Gremio are holding out for €35million plus bonuses.

Sky conclude by stating it is ‘not a simple operation’ and one that the Rossoneri have no intention of attempting ‘until the last day of the market’.
