New York’s most exclusive sex party is coming to the Hamptons this summer.
Snctm, an elite erotic club based in Los Angeles that reportedly counts Gwyneth Paltrow and Bill Maher among its fans, recently threw a sex party at a downtown Manhattan hotel.
Now it has set its sights on the Hamptons, and party organizers are planning a black-tie “Masquerade” event at an opulent private Hamptons residence on Aug. 5. The erotic “Eyes Wide Shut”-style event, we’re told, is limited to only 99 guests.
The location — and the identity of the owner of the property — is being kept a strict secret until the last minute, when those who successfully applied will be notified, we’re told. Organizers say they usually get over 1,000 applicants on their website for just 100 places at a party.
Snctm is a private members club for which male members pay $1,500 to $1,875 (the discount rate applies when you bring a female partner) to attend each party, or an annual VIP membership of $75,000, which includes admission to all parties.
The private club started five years ago when it began holding monthly erotic parties in LA’s Holmby Hills neighborhood, and then expanded to a quarterly party in Manhattan last year.
Snctm club owner Damon Lawner tells us his members include A-list actors, models, top lawyers, Wall Streeters and CEOs.
He told Page Six, “Guests have to be masked when they enter the party; men wear tuxes and women wear elegant gowns or lingerie; but after midnight, masks and other items of clothing fall off. The first few hours are about mystique and intrigue. This is not a sex party — it is erotic theater. We have performances. Some just watch while others want to indulge.”
The Post recently was allowed inside to report on an NYC party, which was dubbed “a night of erotic freedom.”
Meanwhile, Showtime has been working on a reality show about Snctm, and sources say eight episodes have been filmed.
