Les Ferdinand turns down Cherries


Former England striker Les Ferdinand has told AFC Bournemouth that he is no longer interested in the managerial position at Dean Court.

Ferdinand had an interview with the club last week, but has since told Cherries Chairman Abdul Jaffer that he no longer wished to be considered.

Abdul told the Daily Echo

‘The club and Les have had an informal discussion regarding the manager’s position at AFC Bournemouth and Les has decided that at this time, he does not wish to take it any further.’

Abdul Jaffer also confirmed…

‘The job has certainly not been offered to anyone.
