Central defender Edwards has been one of Plymouth’s shining lights despite their relegation from League One this season and he is one of the best free agents in the Football League this summer.
The former Blackburn Rovers youngster made 38 appearances in all competitions for Plymouth and proved himself as a commanding presence in both boxes chipping in with five goals for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth are resigned to losing Edwards and other key performers in the wake of their relegation and the 25-year-old is sure to have no shortage of takers with his performances alerting a number of clubs.
The likes of Doncaster Rovers, Fleetwood Town, Peterborough, Bristol Rovers and Bradford City have all expressed an interest in signing Edwards this summer as they look to strengthen their defensive options.
