Yr 5/6 Tennis
On Tuesday 3rd October the Tennis Team took part in a festival at Ventnor Tennis Club.
The weather was fantastic for the event and the kids really enjoyed themselves. The festival this year was a doubles event, a new challenge for our team. With participation and enjoyment being the idea behind this festival the children took part in typical Wroxall fashion with bundles of enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The girls team had mixed fortunes drawing a couple of matches and losing a few too, but this didn't deter them from giving it their all. The boys had a bit more success finishing in 4th place. A huge thank you to Mrs Rogers for taking the team!

We have three main aims: - To provide a positive experience in a safe , enjoyable and encouraging environment. - To develop the fundamental movement skills and knowledge for a lifetime love of being fit and healthy. - To ensure the children are able to be confident, balanced and coordinated young people whether sporty or not.
