Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club
Worthing Pavilion men finished up their county league campaign with a 6.5/1.5 victory away at Grattons to secure runners up for the 23/24 season.

Following on from the members open meeting we are delighted to confirm our initial agreement with the West Sussex County Short Mat Bowls Association.
We will be hosting 13 Short mat competitions on designated weekend days from September through to April and we look forward to developing a beneficial mutual partnership in coming years.

Congratulations to Vinnie Minter on his double success, having already won the Sussex U25 singles championship, Vinnie has now been selected to trial for England U18.
We wish Vinnie every success in his future bowling endeavours.

Congratulations to Jeremy Simpson on winning the SCIBA unbadged singles title with thrilling 21-20 over Tristian Fordham of Eastbourne.

Congratulations to the Worthing Pavilion four of Ray Leggett, Arthur White, Bill Murphy and John Frew’s whose county fours campaign ended with narrow defeat in the final against Eastbourne.

Founded in 1948, we are a 'Community Amateur Sports Club' with approximately 180
playing & social members of all ages.

Fully air conditioned and LED-lit indoors rinks are combined with 2 outdoor greens of the highest quality, we are the home venue of choice for the Sussex County senior fixtures and are well represented in the National and County Competitions.

All greens are fully accessible to wheelchair users, we welcome all bowlers and non-bowlers and encourage community participation through liaison with local charity groups, businesses and societies,

This, together with a well-stocked, low-cost bar and a dining area offering homemade fare, makes our club one of the most popular bowls venues in the Sussex area.

The sport of Bowls may be enjoyed by all regardless of experience, gender, race, age or disability and provides controlled, gentle, sustainable exercise for body & mind.
Its defining attributes of fellowship, courtesy, fun & honest competitiveness may all be experienced in full measure at Worthing Pavilion.
