A great club, welcoming to the whole family. Both our kids are going through and are really enjoying it. All of the teachers are passionate and dedicated. We cannot recommend this club enough.

good club ,runs longer than most groups ,1 1/2 and 2 hr sessions ,excellent value for money especially if you pay 6th monthly or yearly ,it then includes the licence fee and test fees
my child attends and his confidence has grown and really enjoys the banter along side the more disciplined side of things ,wouldn't hesitate recommending the club to anyone

My daughter has been with the club since she was 4 years old, she is 8 now. Her confidence has grown so much. The instructors are amazing. They are patient and tenacious, ensuring the students excel at their own pace. My daughter has competed in Manchester, something she would not have considered before.
The club feels like family. Supporting each other. No one looks down on anyone, unless they are helping them up 😊
They have events in the year, meals, bowling etc.

My experience of Stevenage Taekwondo, Since I joined the club in 1996, has only ever been a positive, focused and massively enjoyable environment. After various periods of absence, many years later, the ethos of the club has not changed. You will be challenged, pushed, and encouraged, to meet your potential, under the watchful eye of true, Masters. The Instructors often go above and beyond to support students, and accommodate them wherever possible. I cannot think of an Institution I could speak more highly of.

STC is a wonderful local martial arts club where my children have been attending for many years. They have grown in confidence, mentally and physically and they continue to develop by learning in a friendly and encouraging environment. My daughter joined the club in September 2013. She is truly a London 2012 inspired athlete and the club have helped her establish herself as confident and positive individual.
I am also a member now and love the 'Taekwondo family' approach.

Stevenage Taekwondo is a great club, friendly with great instructors. Such great value for money.
If you are considering any Martial Art, then visit this club. As well as being an olympic sport, the only Martial Art that is, there is so much more to it than just kicking (most people perception). It teaches you the art of respect, balance, self awareness, self defence, avoiding conflict and attacks, as appose to teaching you to stand and brawl. I know I would rather get out the way slow the attacker down and leave, than stand there trading blows. It does all this without being too deep into history and too many traditions.
Just a massive thanks to all the guys at Stevenage Taekwondo, special thanks to Andy - (Master Jeffries) for everything he has done for my little girl in the 4 years she has been with the club. She is 10 now and grades this year, September, for her Black belt.
Everyone involved keep up the great work....

I started Taekwondo in this club. After having my 2 kids I returned to Taekwondo but changed club due to the different training days. I since realised my mistake and returned to Stevenage Taekwondo club and it was the best decision I ever made.

My two daughters and I have been with Stevenage Taekwondo for nearly 3 years now. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Head instructor ensures the Club always follows latest standards of the official bodies and a respectful etiquette. He and all the black belts who help to teach are always approachable, friendly, and ready to help. The students are positively challenged and encouraged to take the next step in improving their skills. There's a really warm atmosphere in the club, and no differentiation in approach according to the age nor rank - everyone are treated with respect whether they are child or an adult. The club is very family orientated, there are quite a few parents and children training together, which help not only stay fit, but also bond with your child(ren) and even get a healthy competition going! All in all the Club feels like a big family, where everyone knows each other, train and get together for occasional nights out. Definitely recommend Stevenage Taekwondo to anyone!

My 6yr old daughter has been attending classes for about 7mths now she loves it the teachers are great with children and patient. The classes are a good price £2.50 a lesson small change to teach my daughter self defence. We are now attending 2 classes per wk

STC is a great club. each training is different, and I feel I have progressed a lot since joining the club. There is also a strong social glue between the members which gives a good spirit.
Training sessions can be very hard, and there is a lot of variety between the sessions and never a routine. Best club in the area!

The instructors are very patient, helpful and experienced. Lessons are varied so they don't get boring. Being able to go twice a week helps maintain momentum.

This is not just a club, it is a family - from your first visit to the club you are made very welcome. I found the club online when my son was going through a bad spell of bullying at school. From my first phone call with Master Jeffries I knew I had found the right club, as even though we weren’t members, he spoke at great length to me and even sent me articles on bullying and martial arts. My son and daughter started at the club in September 2016 and were welcomed straight away as were we as parents - there was no competitive attitude of my kid is better than yours. The lessons are well planned, fun and varied and the level of expertise is outstanding. All the instructors are keen to share their wealth of knowledge and experience and the club regularly has guest instructors from Korea visiting to impart their wisdom and share their skills. I joined the club myself in February 2017 and love being part of this family.
Another great thing about the club is the junior instructors- they are such good role models for the children are both professional and knowledgeable and also lots of fun - the kids respect them and love them in equal measures.
I am so glad that we found this awesome club to be part of - I have seen my son go from having no confidence to competing in the England Open Championships and winning a gold medal - he has gained so much confidence which he carries across all aspects of his life. I highly recommend this club to anyone who is looking to take up a marital art and wants to be part of a fantastic club.
