The Council Schools Sub-Junior Boys Inter School Cricket Tournament 2015-16 started at St Jude’s School here today. Five schools are participating in the tournament.

In the inaugural match, St Thomas College beat Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy by six wickets. Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 117 runs in 20 overs. Vivek scored 30 runs for the team while Prince took three wickets for St Thomas College. In reply, St Thomas College team scored 118 runs for the loss of four wickets. They won the match by six wickets. Drone scored 36 runs for St Thomas.

VR Gardner, Principal, St Jude’s School, BM Bhatt, Deepak Purohit, DS Mehra from St Jude’s School, Poonam Yadav from Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy and RD Jung from St Thomas’ College were present during the inaugural match.
