A PERVERT dad who took photos of schoolgirls and wanted them to be sexually abused was a top children's bowls coach in Edinburgh, it has been revealed.
Twisted Stuart Betts, 49, was snared by an undercover cop after suggesting that two teen girls, aged 17 and 14, should be attacked by a "gang".
But it has now emerged that the depraved father was a coach with the Scottish Young Bowlers Association, and was involved with Craigentinny Bowling Club.
Social media posts mentioned Betts - who is an ex-committee member at Craigentinny - on a number of occasions, with him being thanked for helping to develop talented children.
And the Edinburgh Evening News revealed that in 2013, Betts helped set up a summer party for the kids in a bid to encourage new members to join.

A number of snaps were found on Craigentinny's Facebook page showing the beast at a barbecue with youngsters during what appeared to be a club fun day.
A letter from Bowls Scotland revealed that Betts was suspended as soon as they were made aware of the police probe.
Members were told that the sick perv was not allowed to enter any bowling premises at all.
A spokesperson for Craigentinny Bowling Club, said: “We suspended him immediately under instruction from Bowls Scotland.
"Shortly thereafter Mr Betts resigned. The club then acted accordingly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all its members.”

Betts pleaded guilty to making aggressive, offensive and sexualised remarks, and stating his desire to sexually abuse two girls.
He also admitted to suggesting to others that they sexually abuse towards the teens - as he was convicted last week.
The twisted pervert was placed on the Sex Offenders' Register, with sentence deferred.
