Leisure Town Lawn Bowling Club member, Dick Ruddy, 89, of Vacaville rolls his bowl toward the jack Thursday. The sport of lawn bowling can be played in teams of two or three with each bowler rolling a weighted ball called a bowl toward a target ball called a jack. The team earns a point by rolling their bowl closest to the jack. Members of the club bowl four times a week and have to be at least 55 years old to join.
