We are stoked to announce the 2022 korev lager English Interclub Surfing Championships are ON this weekend, the 24th -25th September at Fistral Beach, Newquay. This event is a true highlight on the calendar for us as we come together to showcase the surf club communities & talent within across England.
The contest is set to be an exciting one, with over 130 surfers in the event & teams entered from across England, all competing for championship titles across open, women, and junior divisions. Surfers will battle hard to gain points for their team totals which will contribute to who will be crowned the 2022 korev lager English Interclub champions, a prestige and hotly contested title.
We will run the event to work with conditions, experienced Contest Director Pauly Jeffrey leading the surfing. The competition schedule is subject to change with conditions. Whilst the surf is looking small, the sun will be out & Newquay Boardriders have been lining up a fantastic social for Saturday evening. Let’s go!
Aside from high level surfing action amongst our clubs, the korev lager beach flags will make a return for 2022. As our headline sponsors, korev lager will also give out beer tokens to all competitors* for a refreshing beer at Fistral Beach Bar. Newquay Boardriders as host club have lined up Newquay legend, DJ Sam Supplier, for Saturday evening.
Across the two days, lifeguards ERA adventures will be on hand to keep everyone safe in the water.
Competition Schedule will be posted on Thursday, with peak set up info, format info, etc.

The Event will run wit live scoring on live heats but manual tabulation will take place to tally up those important team points!
