A pair of teenage volleyball stars are packing their bags for Italy after receiving call ups to the England Cadets team.
Crestwood School pupil, Carl Butcher, aged 15, and Redhill pupil, Will Jenkins, aged 14, have both impressed for Redhill Stourbridge Volleyball Club in the West Midlands mens league.
The duo have are now busily preparing for the international tournament in Modena by linking up with youngsters from around the country down in Oxfordshire.
Carl's dad, Adrian, praised the attitude of both youngsters.
He said: "There is a huge commitment needed for players who train with the England squads and both of these lads have shown the necessary dedication.
"We have all got our fingers crossed they do well in the tournament."
