Last night we celebrated 25 years that Ricochet has been operating. We were lucky enough to have most of our life members and some of our ex-students with their children there to celebrate with us. Lisa organised an enormous cake that could've fed the whole of Waipukurau!...Wayne Twigge (Co. Club President) who came from Tauranga to be here, spoke kindly to the achievements of those 25 years.....while eager and hungry eyes of our young members waited patiently.

The time to celebrate and enjoy sharing memories was too short, but it looks like a movie night is in the offering for all our alumni, to watch old footage from past years...wishing that we were still that skinny again to grace a leotard. We'll let you know when that will happen.

So, yes that is me with the afro in my NZ tracksuit. I was 19yrs at the time and bouncing for the Mt Albert Club, in Mt Albert Gym, before heading off to Adelaide. I'm sure everyone has regrets on what they thought was cool at the time!
