Southwell CC are delighted to announce three new additions to the squad as Tom Glenn, Elvis Sembezeya and Harry Eade join the club for the 2022 season.

Batting all-rounder, Tom Glenn, has moved into the area from East Sussex. Hitting 471 runs in his 13 appearances last season for Laughton CC 1st XI, he adds depth to an already strong batting line-up. Also very handy with a ball in hand, his versatility will give 1st XI skipper Tom Clarke plenty of options throughout the season.

Having previously played for Zimbabwe U19’s, seamer Elvis Sembezeya brings pace and bounce to our bowling attack and will be well suited to bowling at Top Ground. The Brackenhurst student’s potential gives an air of excitement for those travelling to support Southwell this season.

Arriving from Balsham CC in the Cambridge and Huntingdon League, Harry Eade also joins us in 2022. With his nibbly seam to bolster the club’s bowling line up, we are delighted to welcome Harry to the club. A self-declared competitor for the number 11 batting line up, Harry will fit right in and is looking forward to a successful season.
