Season starter at Rochdale & District Riding Club

Date published: 08 April 2012

Horse boxes pulling onto the showground at Roch Valley Way is a familiar site and with spring upon us this weekend saw the first of this season’s meetings at Rochdale & District Riding Club - Dressage on Saturday and the Open Point Show on Sunday.

The Riding Club was founded in 1962 to provide its membership with regular competitions and excellent facilities, enabling them to compete and enjoy an equestrian lifestyle and holds a variety of events including shows, dressage, one day events and cross country.

The Club is affiliated to the British Riding Club and a member of the Northern Liaison Group Area 3 and members are given the opportunity to enter team Competitions, in various disciplines, and to qualify for the British Riding Club National Championships.
