Club presented with defibrilla­tor

Boughton & Eastwell Cricket Club have been presented with a defibrilla­tor by the local parish council.

They are one of several organisati­ons in the Ashford area to benefit from the initiative, helped by funding from Kent county councillor Charlie Simkins.

He and Parish Council members visited the Faversham Road ground on Saturday, to hand over the machine to president Ian Foinette and other club officials.

The club have switched to the Kent Regional League this season and start their Division 1 Central campaign at home to Gore Court 3rds on Saturday.
