Malling saw 182 runners take part with Sam Terrell first in 19.51, ahead of top age-graded performer Alan Spivey, who scored 78.54% with his time of 19.56.

Kane Haysman, on his first visit to the course, took third place in 20.04.

It was an all-junior top three in the women’s race with Beth Lednor (21.39) getting the better of older sister Rebecca (21.44) and Ella McIntyre (22.50).

The half-time entertainment at Maidstone United is taken care of in the final home game before Christmas.

Race entry includes a standing ticket for the match, a five-piece Santa suit and a medal. Child runners will be entered into a draw to win a signed football.

Cost is £5 for under-fives, £10 for children aged five to 16 and £18foradults.

Discounts are available for family and group bookings. To book, call 01622 790195 or visit hokh.org
