The University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Riverside County received a first-place blue ribbon for best display at the Southern California Fair held in October in Perris.
The group also received a gold ribbon for overall best booth in the fair, according to a press release.
Members of the design team were Thurman Howard, project coordinator; Steven Lee, equipment manager; and Master Gardeners Jim O’Brien, Marilyn Howard, Debbra O’Brien and Joyce Allen.
