Henry Peach Robinson

Henry Peach Robinson (1830-1901) was an English photographer. His photos appear to attempt to capture the feeling of Victorian genre painting. A Cottage Autumn Fading Away (1858) [about this photo] In Kilbrennan Sound (1895) Hugh Welch Diamond (1869) [Hugh Welch Diamond was another photographer (and a psychiatrist as well!)] What follows is a series of four photos depicting the tale of "Little Red Riding Hood" - an early use of photography as storytelling!
