Cockfosters Bowls club are celebrating their 100 years anniversary and apart from their normal fixture list they also have special matches arranged against other associations.

Three UK Cypriots the Chrysostomou brothers Mikkos and Laki and Roy Gerondeas play for them.

On Monday evening they faced Middlesex at Chalk Lane, Cockfosters. The match was over 18 ends and each club had four teams consisting of four players. The game was very competitive with Middlesex leading early on but Cockfosters finished strongly to win on three rinks out of four with a final score 66-59.

After the game players and guests enjoyed food and drink as well as presentations to mark the occasion.
