Rachel Stevens has opened up on the moment her six year old daughter Minnie found her FHM Sexiest Woman of All Time award.

The 43 year old was awarded the accolade by the now-defunct lad's mag in 2014, beating the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Brook, Britney Spears and Cheryl.

Ahead of her stint on Dancing On Ice, the former S Club 7 singer has opened up on the moment her youngest daughter discovered the award.

Speaking to Daily Mail's Weekend magazine, Rachel said: "Minnie found it the other day. We were clearing out stuff and she said, ‘Oh Mummy… Sexiest Woman’.

"Obviously she doesn’t understand. She doesn’t know what sexy is.

"I kept it for fun because it was back then. It was a moment in time, very much something of that era."

Rachel had been runner-up in the magazine's annual 100 Sexiest Women countdown three times, but managed to steal the top spot in the 20th anniversary poll.

She said at the time: "To win this award feels absolutely amazing. It's so flattering to think that people think of me that way. It's brilliant."

To celebrate the award, Rachel posed for a racy topless shoot for the magazine, saying: "The first cover I shot in 2000 was really exciting, because at that time we were really young - I was 22 - and we were so used to being all kiddy and sweet and nice.

"It was an opportunity to be a bit more grown up, to be more womanly and sexy."

Rachel rarely shares images of her daughters Minnie and Amelia, 11, so fans were delighted when she dedicated a post to them on International Women's Day last year.

A beautiful black and white photo sees Rachel wrapping her arms around her two daughters as the trio all beam at the camera.

She wrote alongside the family snap: "Here's to strong, amazing women. May we know them, May we be them, May we raise them.

"Being a mother to my wonderful girls is my biggest achievement and raising them to believe in themselves and to lift other girls up is so important to me.

"Here's to all you incredible women out there and to teaching the younger female generation to love themselves for who they are, to think big and to follow their dreams."
