The U15 Boys tennis team began their campaign with a tough fixture against Hethersett Academy, last year's winners of the U13 county competition, on Thursday 25th May. Things started brightly with George Snelling's game. This was his first match since breaking his collar bone and whilst still only able to serve under arm, he amazingly won 6-0. All the other singles matches were tight, and although Harry Philpott was just edged out 4-6, we managed to win the other two singles matches thanks to Charlie Hutchinson and Dominic Walker, thereby taking a 3-1 lead into the doubles. George and Dominic duly won their game 6-3 so the overall match was won. There were some fantastic doubles in the dead rubber with Hethersett winning 5-7. Final score saw Norwich win 4 v 2 to Hethersett.
The team now need to beat Gresham's and Langley to secure the county title.
