MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team was swept in a doubleheader by No. 17 Augustana on Senior Day on Saturday, falling 12-0 and 8-0 in Moorhead, Minn.
Seniors
Taylor Roddie and
Lexie Kennedy were honored between games. Roddie is a four-year starter at shortstop at MSUM while Kennedy is a two-year member of the Dragon team.

Kaiya Sundeen had hits for MSUM, both singles. Sophomore designated hitter
Ashley McCance reached on a walk

Becky Berth took the loss, giving up 11 earned runs in five innings. She struck out two.
Augustana set the tone with an eight-run first inning which saw the Vikings hit four home runs. The Dragons' best threat was in the fifth as Roddie reached on an error and Sundeen singled. But a strikeout and ground out ended that threat.
In Game 2, McCance and freshman outfielder
Shay Weber each had a double while Dummer had a single.
MSUM hosts Minnesota Duluth at 2 p.m. on Wednesday for a doubleheader. That twin bill is the home finale for the Dragons.
