Adams Aquatics Open Day Saturday 29 July
This Saturday (29 July) Adams Aquatics are hosting an Open Day at The Mount School Swimming Pool from 10am – 3pm.
Come along and find out more about the Admas Aquatics and the Swim School they are launching at The Mount School this September. No need to book, turn up on the day.
There are many activities taking place throughout the day including:
Swimfinity Adult Swim Lessons
Swimfinity inspire people to enjoy the water and understand how the human body can get through the water in the easiest way possible.
Swimfinity will be offering adult swim lessons at The Mount School from September. Using the latest research in body mechanics, physics, and neuroscience Swimfinity focus the swimmers’ attention on specific cues that allow the joints to move safely and effectively.
Come along and have a chat with them about how they can help you and see what other services we are offering.
Special Olympics Great Britain
Adams Aquatics train the Special Olympics City of York Swimming Team. Special Olympics GB will be at the Open Day supporting the fantastic venue.
FREE ROOKIE LIFEGUARD SESSION
Do you have an avid swimmer who wants to try out our Rookie Lifeguard session? If they are capable of swimming 50m+ then they can take part for FREE! Royal Life Saving Society UK‘s Rookie Lifeguard programme gives your child the skills they need to be confident in the pool or the sea – which means peace of mind for you.

Aquabatix
Aquabatix are performing at the Open Day! Aquabatix are Commonwealth Games medalists, national champions, world finalists and Olympians in the sport of synchronised swimming. They are also now at the top of their game as underwater specialists in the entertainment industry.

Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS)
RLSS UK has a proud history of helping to reduce the number of lives lost to drowning. They will be there on the open day to discuss the great work they do and how you can get involved.RLSS UK will be performing sport life saving demonstrations and rookie workshops with some of our higher level swimmers.
Adams Aquatics Swim School will be offering an RLSS UK Lifesaving club at The Mount School York. Lifesaving clubs are at the heart of a community, providing an essential service to young people and their families to develop the ability to enjoy water safely.
In at the Deep End
In at The Deep End will be attending the open day…to answer your professional training queries. Adams Aquatics Swim School have partnered with in at the deep end to provide the best quality training courses for aquatic industry professionals.
Unlock your potential with one of our accredited and cost effective training courses, delivered by expert trainers. From teaching swimming to pool plant operations, our courses are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. Level Water
Level Water give children with disabilities the opportunity to learn to swim. From physical development to social and emotional confidence, swimming is a vehicle to change lives for the better.
Adams Aquatics Swim School has a passion for getting everyone swimming. In collaboration with Level Water we provide swimming lessons for children with disabilities and share in their mission to improve inclusivity across the swimming industry.
Jorvik Radio
Jorvik Radio will be presenting their radio show live! Jorvik Radio is York’s local radio station, broadcasting to the York area on 94.8FM, online at jorvikradio.com, on their free app and through smart speakers. They will be presenting their radio show from our Open Day at the Mount School York!
We are so excited to host them on the day, where they will be presenting their normal show, playing music, as well as interviewing some of our partners and members of the crowd too!
City of York Mayor and Civic Party will be opening the event
We are honoured to have the Mayor Reverend Councillor Chris Cullwick and members of the Civic Party in attendance throughout the day to take an in depth look at this fantastic venue as well as chat to our partners and the Jorvik Radio team.
