A pre-season meeting will be held at the clubhouse on Friday 6th September 2024 at 10am
2023-2024 Season
Short Mat Bowls played in the Clubhouse is open to all Members & Associates. It is a very social & relaxed game with no dress code other than bowls shoes must be worn.
This year the season will start on Monday 2nd October with, we hope, 9 sessions:

Tuesday morning, afternoon & evening,

Wednesday afternoon,

Thursday morning & afternoon

Friday morning & afternoon
There will be 2 free “Taster” sessions for those who haven’t played before on Saturday 16th September at 10am, and on Sunday 17th September at 2pm. If you haven’t played do come along and give it a try.
For the season the cost is £3.00 per session, including tea / coffee & biscuits, paid monthly in arrears via BACS (like match fees).
Registration sheets will be up in the clubhouse on Finals Day 10th September until Sunday 17th September. If you are unable to visit the clubhouse between 10th and 17th September to register please email peter23843@gmail.com and I will note your requirements. You can register to play in up to 3 sessions. Priority will be given to first choices so please number your choices. Other than that it will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
There will be an Inter-Session Triples League played on Monday & Saturday mornings throughout the season.
Each session will have a steward who will keep a record of attendance, organise order of play and select the team to play in the league.

Short Mat Trophy:
An annual one-day drawn pairs competition. The 2024 competition will be held on Saturday 9th March - for info please click here.

Team Trophy:
A triples league competition is played throughout the short mat season with each session entering a team.
