SQUAD OF TWELVE NAMED TO FACE KENT AT NORTHWOOD IN NEXT PRE-SEASON CLASH

MIDDLESEX NAME SQUAD OF TWELVE TO FACE KENT THIS WEEK AT MERCHANT TAYLORS' SCHOOL IN SECOND PRE-SEASON CLASH

Middlesex First-Team Coach Richard Johnson has made five changes to the side that was named to face Hampshire last week down in Southampton, as he looks to get overs into the bowlers and time in the middle for the batters into as many of the squad as possible in the build up to the new season.

Martin Andersson, Joe Cracknell, Luke Hollman and Robbie White are all named, as is new Middlesex man Leus du Plooy, who is set to make his eagerly awaited debut for the Club having recently teamed up with the rest of the playing squad.

Making way are Henry Brookes, Jack Davies, Josh De Caires, Ryan Higgins and Sam Robson, who all featured down at the Utilita Bowl last week and sit out of this one.

Still missing from the line-up is Stephen Eskinazi, who is targeting a return to the squad next week for the tie at Essex, as he continues to recover from a finger injury sustained whilst playing in the Big Bash for Perth Scorchers over the winter.

The match will be played with red-ball conditions, using a Kookaburra ball, with play starting at 10.30am on Monday and at 10am on Tuesday because of the forecast of heavy rain from lunch on day two.

If you are planning on attending the game as a spectator, please be aware that the school is currently open, therefore there will be no access to the grounds via the main school entrance. ALL spectators MUST access the school via the Askew Road entrance.

Parking will be available on the grass behind the school pavilion.

Limited seating is available around the ground, however we would welcome spectators to bring their own chairs with them.

There will be no catering facilities available for spectators at the ground, however toilet facilities are available.

We look forward to welcoming you to Northwood over the next two days.

Middlesex have named the following squad of twelve for the clash:

We inform all members and supporters that this match will not be live streamed from Northwood.
