A plan has been hatched to tear down a disused Royal British Legion club and build four homes.
The application, which has come from the Royal British Legion, seeks permission to build two three-bedroom, and two four-bedroom semi detached houses on the site in in Sawyers Crescent.
The plans include a provision for a new access from Heywood Court Close for the three-bed houses, and off-street parking for the homes.
The club closed in 2006 and has since fallen into a state of disrepair. John Phillips Planning Consultancy's planning statement says that the building has been broken into and become a magnet for fly-tipping.
