Desborough welcomed county rivals Whiteknights to Green Lane this week for a six-rink triples match and kicked off 2024 with a convincing friendly win.
The hosts proved too strong for their visitors in all but one of the six rinks, winning by 41 shots for a 124-83 victory.
The rinks skipped by Stephen Hall and Teresa Slark both enjoyed comfortable wins, however, they couldn’t get close to the team who took top rink honours, with Rory Palmer, Jacky Sandal and Michael White winning their match by 20 shots, 29-9.
