Public notices: Plans for waiting restrictions for Eton College June Celebrations

Plans to impose waiting restrictions due to Eton College’s June Celebrations feature in this weeks public notices.

The Royal Borough intends to make an order stopping any vehicle from waiting on the B3022 Slough Road on both sides from its junction with the B3026 Pococks Lane northwards to the borough boundary.

It would also prohibit vehicles from waiting on B3026 Pococks Lane on both sides from its junction with the B3022 Slough Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 400 metres.

The proposed order will be in operation between 6am and 6pm on Saturday, June 17.

Elsewhere, an order has also been made to stop any person from proceeding along Peascod Place in Windsor for its entire length.

The order is to facilitate a new power connection and will be in operation from 12.01am on Monday, June 5 to 11.59pm on Friday, June 9.

The alternative pedestrian route is via Peascod Street, Acre Passage, and Mellor Walk.

Slough Borough Council has announced a road closure in Hatfield Road from its junction with The Grove, Slough to the back of 308 High Street.

The order, which is needed as works are or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road, will come into operation from 12.01am on Tuesday, June 13.

All works are expected to be completed by 11.59pm on Friday, June 16.

An order has also been made stopping any traffic from passing through Station Road in Cippenham from its junction with Stanhope Road.

The order, which is needed because works are or are proposed to take place on or near the road, will come into operation from 12.01am on Monday, July 24.

All works are expected to be finished by 11.59pm on Friday, August 4.
