We would like to thank everyone who attended the Friends of Lyndhurst Summer Family Fun Day and helped to make it such a success. The weather was beautiful and it was lovely to see so many families and children having fun and spending time together. It was a fun packed afternoon with lots of games and activities and not forgetting the delicious BBQ and bar. We would like to say a special thank you to Mackenzie Smith who kindly sponsored the event and donated a wonderful M&S hamper. We would also like to thank Playball, Camberley Rugby Club, Boogie Pumps and David Gill Lawn Tennis for coming to support the event and providing us with fun and engaging activities.
The whole afternoon was a buzz of activity from a very popular ‘soak the teacher’ stall to the classic ‘hook a duck’ and ‘bottle tombola’. The children loved taking the time to cool off on such a scorcher of a day doing some arts and crafts. We were also treated to the amazing Art Exhibition, showcasing all of the beautiful artwork produced by all of the children in the school. Well done to the art departments for putting together such a brilliant display.
