WAB Supporting Witney Ladies 1st XI

We’re delighted to be supporting Witney Hockey Ladies 1st XI in their 2022/23 Vitality Women’s Hockey League Division One South campaign.

Following 4 promotions in just 6 seasons, Witney are now playing in the second tier of English hockey, competing against some of the biggest clubs in the country. Their first game of the season against Isca & Exeter University was no exception, with two England internationals turning out for the opposition! Witney eventually lost narrowly, 2-0.

Witney is a thriving local club with 70 players having attended under 10s training alone last week! and growing crowds supporting 1st XI home games at Witney's Wood Green base. Indeed, nine of the now first-team ladies players came through Witney’s youth set-up and many have been involved throughout their 4 promotions.
