And that’s a wrap……. Today we played our final game of the season in our first season i the Eastern Junior Alliance. Part of me is relieved it’s over and part of me is sad as it has probably been the most difficult season I’ve had to endure not because of the results because that’s just football but unfortunately the political side ruined what was meant to be an enjoyable journey. However that aside I have enjoyed coaching these young men along with Andy, Liam and Dan! We was expecting it to be difficult beings it was our first season in the EJA along with a lot of the players who at times found the step up challenging. How ever they have all improved as players and hopefully taken a lot from this season. We start pre season from mid May onwards with a number of new players expected to Trial so we go into next season with a bit more of an understanding of what’s needed and hope we have learnt enough to build a team that will compete with the better teams. Rome wasn’t built in a day as they say so it will be a building process. #team #building #football #coaching
