An away day with my club, Corsham RFC today which ended up with a 38 - 0 win for the boys. Post match I had the honour of presenting the St Austell Brewery Tribute D&W TOTM award for October to the team, whose captain Josh Macey is my son. The club took a difficult decision at the end of last season and requested that they were relegated following a very tough season post pandemic; the 1st XV failed to compete in 3 of their fixtures and the 2nd XV were expunged from the leagues. Rejuvenated, both teams currently sit top of their respective leagues and have only tasted defeat once between them. Sometimes it is necessary to go down to regroup and come back up. #team #award #rugby #Tribute
