Experience

Having started his career in 1996 to help to help launch The Mining Company, a major internet company that was the predecessor to About.com, Bob has continued to focus all his energy on ensuring all the content he touches puts the reader above all other factors.

Prior to editing content on Lifewire, Bob held various roles at About.com as it turned from a small start up to a major destination site. He also wrote About.com's flagship daily newsletter for several years which went to over one million readers.

In his spare time, Bob started up an irreverent website that poked fun at the automotive industry.

My Gear

I'm using a 2022 MacBook Air hooked up to the Apple Studio display. I have an iPhone 13 mini (the blue one!) because come on, these phones are all too big. Despite spending less than I've spent generally (my M1 Mac mini was the best bang for the buck) for my main computer and iPhone and they are, by far, the most powerful I've ever owned. Oh, I have a lot of clicky keyboards that range from loud and obnoxious to louder and even more obnoxious. After I've done the Force Break modification, I added NovelKeys Silk key switches and... Hey, where are you going?

Education

Bob graduated with an undergraduate degree in Journalism from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College).
