Classes must be booked via the Fitsense App or with reception. Please cancel the class if you can not attend to allow other members to use the space. If cancelling less than 1 hour before you will need to call the club. Failure to attend or cancel may result in a temporary block on your member app.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates offers several benefits, combining elements of strength training, flexibility and overall body conditioning.  “Pilates is the complete co-ordination of mind, body and spirit.”  Joseph Pilates (4 week Kingfisher course must be completed before you can attend the classes)

Barre

Barre is primarily a mixture of pilates, yoga and strength training, which also has elements of ballet.  Typically Barre workouts are low impact, meaning they’re gentle on your joints, lower back and feet though they’re still upbeat.  Barre provides improvement in your muscular endurance, functional fitness and posture.  A low impact but total body workout.

Spin

Our awesome instructors and inspiring playlists deliver an immersive workout, which tones your muscles and unlocks your mind. Don’t panic if you’re a beginner to spin, you can work at your own pace in this class

Strengthen and tone your whole body! You will swing, lunge and squat your way to a more toned body whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance

Dance your way to fitness. Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realising it

360 Workout

A small group workout using the equipment on the gym floor. A great way to get fitter and learn how to use all the equipment available to you

Body Tone

Sculpt and tone your body. A total body conditioning class, including exercises to improve aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility. Classes vary, and can include a selection of equipment, as well as body weight exercises

Aqua Aerobics

A gentle fun low impact class in the pool. This is a class to suit all fitness levels. As the water reduces impact on the joints by supporting up to 85% of body weight this is perfect environment for those with injuries or limitations

Pilates

Work your body, mind, and soul. These sessions are designed to concentrate on slow and measured movements to create lean and stronger muscles around your torso. A gentle but highly effective session for improving posture, flexibility and preventing injury

Not for the faint hearted this workout focuses on High Intensity Interval Training. Proven to be one of the fastest and most effective ways to increase cardio fitness and burn away unwanted fat

Boxercise

Exercise with partners to invigorating music, using drills and combinations, including punches and kicks to pads and shields. The workout uses the entire body and enables you to develop definition without gaining bulk. Boxercise is also fun and a great stressbuster

A great way to start your day. A running club for beginners and intermediates. A great way to meet members and make new friends whilst pounding the streets and parkland of Reddish

Insanity

This high-intensity cardio-based class will see you go all-out and be pushed past your limits for a few minutes, before a short period of rest, then starting again. This class will increase your fitness levels quickly and mixes max interval and strength training drills

Fitball

Tone and exercise ball classes are designed to improve energy levels, flexibility, balance and core strength. The unstable ball surface requires increased activation of the core muscles therefore making it ideal for engaging more muscles without increasing total load

Physi-Yo

A combination of Yoga and a Physiotherapist led movement/mobility class. Innovative in it’s approach it aims to explore movement and how repeated movements fit into bigger movement patterns in order to improve our mobility and ease stiffness

The first 30 minutes are led by Matt, a Chartered Physiotherapist with a wealth of experience in elite sport and a community/long term pain setting and the last 60 minutes by Ruth, a dynamic, highly experienced Yoga teacher. The class is suitable for all and you are welcome to ‘mix and match’ by coming to just the first 30 minutes, the last 60 minutes or, of course welcome to enjoy the whole 90 minutes with us

HIIT Step

HIIT Step is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that uses a step and dynamic bodyweight exercises. It has been designed to improve power, increase strength and burn hundreds of calories

The HIIT Step workout contains voice over music tracks and pre-designed training sessions allowing instructors to deliver inspirational and motivational workouts.

Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga to support mums on their way to birth. Sessions will include Pelvic floor health, breathing practices, de-stress and birth preparation techniques, supportive asanas/postures prenatally, optional strength work, relaxation and meditation. All trimesters welcome

DDP Yoga

DDP Yoga uses dynamic resistance where you perform the same actions you would when lifting weights, but without the barbells. Instead, you use your own body and muscle tension to add resistance. Adding dynamic resistance allows your heart rate to climb higher than it would normally when doing yoga

Thai-Boxing

Burn calories using real self defence techniques passed down over 700 years. You will develop your balance, flexibility and coordination

Multi Award Winning Martial Artist Richard will lead this fantastic, Martial Arts Class. You will learn Martial Arts from around the world, whilst having fun and getting fit.

You will progress at your own pace and meet likeminded people on the same journey. Developing your understanding & execution of technics, flexibility & growth of your inner Chi, you will feel invigorated which will help to promote confidence, freedom of movement & wellbeing. All within a safe & controlled environment. We all approach new destinations sometimes with an element of uncertainty, life’s one big exciting road, so take the first step to enlightenment.

Good mobility means to move freely with ease. If we strength train without mobilisation we can lose ranges of movement and if we don’t move enough we lose mobility. This class will give you mobilisation moves to add into your training or weekly routine to support efficient movement patterns and aid training recovery.

Meditation

Creating a clear, focused and connected mind helps to create a clear, focused, connected in flow our lives. Mind before matter. This weekly class gives us the opportunity to check in with ourselves and to explore a range of mediation practices to help focus the mind.
