Naas World Taekwondo Club wins 1 Gold medal and 2 Bronze medals at competition in UK

It was a triumphant weekend for Naas World Taekwondo Club as they scooped up 1 Gold and 2 Bronze medals at the Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan in the UK. Instructor Shane Smyth and student Liam Rideway (7) represented both Naas and the World Taekwondo Association Ireland  when they compete in the Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan Great Britain Championships in Bracknell in England on Saturday and Sunday, last. Liam fought with passion, determination and skill and achieved a bronze medal for his club and was supported by his dad Fergus who was with him every step of the way. The Naas World Taekwondo Club currently has 40 plus members made up of all ages ranging from 5-55 years old. Classes are on in Naas Community National School, Craddockstown, Naas. Classes are every Monday and Thursday. Junior class is 6.30-7.15pm. Senior Class is from 7.30-8.30pm. Beginners of all ages and fitness levels welcome anytime.
