Barbarians Rugby Traditions

The Barbarians retain several traditions that have become famous within the sport. Players select their own socks when they play for the Barbarians, often choosing to wear the socks of their current club or the first club they ever played for. With squads often stacked full of internationals they always include at least one uncapped player in their matchday squads.

With a focus on playing running rugby that is full of flair and invention, spectators are almost guaranteed an entertaining and high-scoring match whenever the Barbarians are in town.
