Ford Aspire Blu edition launched in India, price starts at Rs 7.41 lakh

Ford India today launched the special Aspire 'Blu' edition. Available in White, Moondust Silver and Smoke shades, the new Ford Aspire Blu edition is priced at Rs 7.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol variant and Rs 8.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel one.

Ford Aspire Blu edition is available with the Titanium trim in both the petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol engine that makes 96 PS and 120 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company claims a mileage of 19.4 kmpl for the petrol variant. Then there is a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine that produces 100 PS and 215 Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The company claims a mileage of 26.1 kmpl for the diesel variant.

The 2019 Ford Aspire Blu edition has been spied testing in the past as well. It comes with features like absolute black premium cellular grille and grille mesh, premium black finish alloy wheels, dual tone roof, body coloured bumpers, front and rear fog lamps and sporty decals. Inside the cabin of the Aspire Blu edition, one gets blue themed interiors, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There are features like height adjustable driver's seat, push-button start/stop, USB slots rear seat centre armrest. There is a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. There is embedded satellite navigation and automatic air-conditioner as well.

Among the safety features of the 2019 Aspire Blu edition will be two standard front airbags, ABS with EBD, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors and perimeter alarm, among others.

Ford Aspire Blu comes with a 5-year or 1 lakh km warranty. While there is a 2-year factory warranty, it gets a 3-year extended warranty. Also, the Blu edition will be produced at Ford India's Sanand factory in Gujarat for Indian as well as global customers. Ford had recently launched Aspire in a CNG variant. Ford Aspire CNG is available at a starting price of Rs 6.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
