Idman.biz reports that the list compiled by IFFHS includes those who appeared in the top league of national championships.
The record holder of the year was Hungarian Geza Turi. The goalkeeper of "Klaksvik" won the Faroe Islands Championship at the age of 49 years and 64 days.
Georgi Petkov, the goalkeeper of Bulgaria "Slavia" who came second, appeared when he was 47 years and 222 days old. Ho Kwok Chuen from Hong Kong closes the "Trinity". The goalkeeper of "Resurs Kapital" stood in the frame at the age of 46 years and 76 days.
