Former Hull FC duo Ben McNamara and Brad Dwyer have been named in Leigh Leopards' squad for this Saturday afternoon's clash at the MKM Stadium. McNamara is yet to make his Leythers' debut, having signed for the club ahead of the 2024 season, whereas Dwyer has played the last two games on loan.

Signing for Warrington Wolves after departing Hull last autumn, Dwyer has stepped up for the Leopards after the club lost star hooker Edwin Ipape to injury. He played 26 games for the Black and Whites last season.

McNamara, meanwhile, is a new recruit at Leigh, having played 33 times in four years at Hull. He could make his debut at half-back if Lachlam Lam fails to prove his fitness after suffering a laceration to his leg in the defeat to Leeds Rhinos last week.

Lam will be given as much time as possible before his head coach and dad, Adrian Lam, makes a call. There is also the possibility of a place on the bench for McNamara, who played for Leigh's reserves side last weekend and will be keen to impress against his old club.

Elsewhere, Leigh have Matt Moylan to call on, as well as Gareth O'Brien, but are missing John Asiata and Tom Briscoe to injury. They are still looking for their first win of the season, having lost to Huddersfield Giants and St Helens as well as last week's defeat to the Rhinos.
