Good afternoon everybody, it's time for some Challenge Cup action. Hull KR and Leigh Leopards lock horns this afternoon and it promises to be a cracker. This is a rematch of last year's final, which will go down as one of the best in the competition's history. The Leopards won last August in Golden Point, breaking the hearts of the Robins.
Today, the two teams battle it out to enter the semi-finals, one looking to right the wrongs of last year and the other looking to continue their defence of the trophy. It promises to be an intriguing battle between two teams with plenty of recent history between them. As ever, we're here to keep you informed before, during and after the game.
Key Events
Converted
And that's the game. Brilliant spectacle, but the Robins win 26-14. They're one win from Wembley.
TRY - GAME OVER
Rovers win!!! Leigh gamble but it lands on red. Tyrone May intercepts a pass and Elliot Minchella scores under the sticks. The holers are out, last year's finalists one win from Wembley again.
Big moment
Mikey Lewis converts this and it's a two-score lead with eight minutes to play. No pressure, Mikey.
TRY - Evalds for Rovers
Is that the try? It could be if Mikey Lewis can convert it. Evalds comes into the line, Leigh back off waiting for the pass and he has enough space to stretch over and score.
Leigh sloppy
That's the first time they've lacked some fluidity on the edges, a pass for Hanley wayward and out of play. 17 minutes to go.
Outstanding conversion from the corner.
Moylan 3/3. Two points in it, 22 minutes to play.
TRY - Leigh respond
Couldn't write it. From that call, Leigh score. They spread it both ways and eventually, find a gap on the right. Moylan weaves into the line, delivers a cut-out ball to Hanley and he scores in the corner. Game on.
No try
A controversial rule, but the rule is the rule. Jez Litten was downtown, offside from the play the ball, and never got back into an onside position. To make matters worse, Leigh get a penalty on halfway.
WOW!
What a try!!! Or is it? We're going to the video ref. It's no try on field. They're checking offside from a kick.
TRY - Kelepi Tanginoa
That man Kelepi Tanginoa again! It's brilliant from Mikey Lewis, who has burst into life after the break. He made half a break earlier in the set. A few plays later the ball comes left and he lands Tanginoa with a peach of a run who scores under the sticks. In control now.
WHAT A CONVERSION
He's banana kicked it! Unbelievable from Lewis. Rovers are ahead!
Can Mikey Lewis put Rovers ahead?
Tough ask this. Horrible wind, right from the touchline. Good luck...
TRY GIVEN - Rovers Level
No time wasted giving that one, Burgess on the outside of Charnley has enough room to get it down, great pass by Tryone May.
TRY?
We'll see. Joe Burgess has grounded it, just need to see if he's stayed in the field of play.
