The Bedale Bowling Club Society’s ladies charity day raised £766 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The event took place last Thursday.
Sandra McDougal, from the club, said: “We had a very successful day – the weather was kind, the food was good, raffle and tombola very popular and there was some great bowling.
“Congratulations to Cressida who took the trophy, and Jane a worthy runner up.
“Thankyou to everyone who contributed or took part — and don’t forget it’s never too late to come along and have a free trial.”
